Used SRX300 for $100 -- Good deal?

I've been offered a used SRX300 for $100. It appears to be in good shape and the action is looooow, but the previous owner for some reason drew blue rectangles over the side fret markers in sharpie. I was unable to play the bass through an amp so I have no idea how it sounds. I'm not really looking for another bass, but hey -- this seems pretty cheap. How much do they usually go for on the used market? Should I jump on this deal or let it pass?

I'd say jump on it, yo can problaby clean the markings the PO did.
