username n/a's one cent thread

your hair isn't completey locked. because 1) you waxed and your hair doesn't lock up properly with wax (still applies if you use it on tips and/or roots), and 2) your hair wont be completely locked for a couple years. and usually it's not til the 12 month mark that they start to look real good, but it's different for everyone give or take a few months. that being said from all you've said you obviously are clueless dude. you just told me dreads need wax, and that your hair is locked up at 3 weeks. and a bunch of other crap.

not your fault anyway it's just ignorance stemmed from lack of proper research.

i'll tell you what wax does. it makes your hair look neater. but while it's doing that it's hinder locking cause your hair needs to unravel and we-tangle on it's own, even if you backcomb. so you're just ****ing yourself in the LONG RUN, which is whats important. dreads take time.

i wasn't even gonna say anything you need to learn this on your own. be as ignorant as you want. this isn't rocket science dude. it's actually pretty simple to grasp.
Where are you getting your information? Lets look at some websites.

Every method there recommends wax, wonder why?

Speaks out against wax, but the website is also unorganized, not presented well and contains a lot of first person opinion spouting. Also, no testimonials.

There that is every site on the first two pages on google after searching for "dreadlock method". Only one mentions not using wax and nine recommend it. Notice that I didn't include knotty boy because you have something against them, but several site recommend their wax or dreadheadhq, whose wax is almost the same thing.

You had dreads, what are your thoughts?

Man Law 164. A man should spend no more than 5 minutes on his hair or looking at himself in the mirror in the morning.
Man Law 164a. An exception can be made for popping a monster zit or ingrown hair
Man Law 164b. Another exception can be made if the combined length of time you spend in front of the mirror exceeds five minutes when you are shaving.
Man Law 164c. Shaving facial hair that requires more than five minutes to maintain is also unacceptable (i.e. pencil mustaches, george michael beards with designs in them, etc).

However I think the law that applies best to this conversation is....

Man Law 189c. Discussions of hair shall not cover "style," maintenance, or the use of any "product" with regards to said hair.

why did this thread just fail so hard?

Because I started it. See there has been a time honored tradition ever since I became an active user in TB off-topic that all of my threads must ether be closed of fail. It happens to all of them eventually, some take longer than others. I even had a two cents thread before I started this thread, but of course that thread failed just as this one, granted this thread lasted longer than the other one. My one cent. :bassist:

FAIL

Ohhhhhh, boyee that's cold, yet not surprising because of my time honored fail tradition. My one cent. :bassist:
