Using a bass amp with guitar?

Is there a tweeter involved? Pedals? Have you turned the treble eq down?
No tweeters ever for this (69 yr old) kid, whether gee-tar or bass. I just threw that into the discussion as counterpoint to the notion that bass rigs will inherently be treble-shy. Again, big Hartke head and two markbass 2x10s.

Just to follow up, mostly for my own enjoyment. I saw one of those 5 watt all tube Bugera amps selling on GC used for only 120 USD. They go for about 380 or so these days, so I figured why not. Much to my surprise, when it arrived the original speaker was replaced with a Eminence 820H, a $110 dollar speaker upgrade. There was also an unadvertised dust cover included. Not only that, the condition is perfect despite being advertised as "good", and it was packed better than any Reverb or Talkbass purchase I've ever made. Not only that, it sounds great. Very natural, touch sensitive overdrive at the edge of breakup, which is my preferred sound.
The most common complaint of this amp in reviews is that it's a bit dark, and but I can't say I notice that issue at all. I have been running it with the tone around half, as full on is pretty bright. Of course I have no idea how it sounded with the original speaker.
This is why Guitar Center used is so addictive. It's like flipping a coin in terms of having your hopes dashed, met, or completely exceeded. I wonder who sold this thing to Guitar Center for like 60 dollars?
