I've always had a hard time finding a good doubling box. It either worked well for electric and just ok for upright, or vice versa. The Baer ML112 is one of the few boxes I've used that really kills for both. The ML112 is a two way box with a 12in and a 6in mid driver.
Much of the punch and articulation on the upright seems to be right in that spot between the top of the speaker and the bottom of the horn in a regular box. The 6 in mid driver seems to give me back all that musical information otherwise lost, while still giving me plenty of high end for the electric bass. The ML112 also the loudest box I've been able to use without worrying about feedback.
There are other boxes out they with a somewhat similar design, but for me, the Baer is easily the best of the bunch.
