USPS versus UPS/FedEx tracking

Well, apparently things are slowly unraveling for all of the shippers. I currently have

• One item with a USPS tracking number issued four weeks ago, that was never even received at its origination point. The seller refunded my money, which leads me to believe that the seller isn’t the one at fault.
  
• One item with a USPS tracking number that was received, travelled for a little while, then arrived in the same city four days later (my screenshot above on July 10); this item has since been “in transit” ever since, but with no clues as to its actual current location.
• One item sent via UPS by me, with receipt acknowledged by the recipient personally yesterday morning, but whose tracking now shows as “delayed”.

I guess now is not a good time to ship anything!
