Vanderkley! Ever use one?

I have had my eye on this brand for a few years now. And all the reviews are great. They don't have any retail in the states yet but, I would love to get one. The new Spartan amp looks fantastic! You can run two 4 ohm cabs at the same time. I'm not sure if any other brand gives you that ability. Two 4 ohm outputs.
If anyone has used this brand I would love to hear from you!

I'm a big fan. It's really great stuff. My 2x12 is a beast. I've never pushed it to its limits. It has a huge amount of low end too. I'm looking forward to trying the new amp.

I just recently bought the NeoLite 112EXT 300W cabinet to go along with my Genzler Megellan 350 amp which does also have the option to run two 4 ohm cabs at 2.667 ohms. The vanderkley cabinet is great. It is warm, punchy, light weight (about 28 lbs.) with clearly defined lows, mids, and highs. When I save up a bit, I plan to get a second one, preferably used. In so far as the amp, the aurora (which has been discontinued) or the spartan, which just came out and was launched at the London Bass Show this past weekend. I'd love to have either one, but can't afford them just yet. From what I've seen and the reviews I've read, they are very solid amps with tone, power, and simplicity. What more can you ask for?

I think that the Aurora used a Hypex, so the Spartan might too.

I don't have any proof but I think it might be the two channel version of the latest Icepower module everyone is using.

I use an Aurora through Vanderkley, Baer and MAS cabs. I use it or a Thunderfunk, depending on my mood and the Gig. The Vanderkley is Awesome with all the cabs that I've used. I like it so much, I'm in line for a Spartan, as soon as Marc actually starts shipping. Great EQ/tone section. Plenty of power. Quiet and doesn't overheat at all. I played an outdoor gig down here in South Louisiana a couple of weeks ago. 4 1/2 hours in the direct Sun. No problems whatsoever. In my mind, it's actually my "class D" Thunderfunk!!

Never tried one but I've only read raving comments. I also think they're the prettiest cabs in the market, love the dark red baffle. I was very close to going for two of their 112s, but I'm also very happy with my B|Amp so I wanna get an all-Berg rig (and also use the speaker profiles)... But they should be as good as anything. The cabs are also reasonably priced (for hi-end gear), cheaper here for example than the (imported, of course) Bergs. But the amps are more expensive than my budget allows. Anyway, here's a nice comparison video (note that all cabs have ceramic woofers except for the neo-loaded Vanderkley):

Just pointing out that two 4 Ohm cabs would give you a load of 2 Ohms.

I don't think the Spartan is using a Hypex or an Ice, but I could be wrong. I asked Marc Vanderkley about it when it was still under development and got the impression that it was something else.

Shipping charges must be killer from Europe. I hope he gets a distributor in the US, at some point.

Thanks Dude, I'm going to have a "spring sale" soon. That's just the tip of the iceberg. I have had a few severe cases of GAS and went crazy. My Wife has decided that I need to thin the herd. Sounds familiar, Right?!?!?!?
