Vanderkley replacement speakers

Does anyone have any knowledge of the speakers that Marc puts in his cabinets? I have a 115 MN6 that I absolutely love, but I blew out the 6" speaker. I'm trying to decide which speaker to use for a replacement. I noticed that Vanderkley no longer sells these.

Btw, I do love these Vanderkleys; I also have the 112MNTs and 210LNTs as well. They have a great sound, and are bulletproof - except, obviously, the 6":(. Maybe the reason he no longer sells them.

I appreciate any information that you can share.
Thanks.

Probably just an off-the-shelf speaker. Can you post a picture of it?
Looking at a speaker generally will not tell you what it is, OEM speakers can look exactly like an off the shelf model yet be entirely different performance-wise.

Marc did reply last night. Thanks for the input. In case you're interested, the replacement speaker is the Faital Pro 6PR122 - 6" 120W 8 Ohm Loudspeaker.
I attempted to pull the speaker this morning. It seems to be glued down or otherwise stuck. Obviously I'm not very adept with repairs, but I was reluctant to force it loose. Is it common to fasten the speakers with some sort of glue? Or perhaps it is just stuck because of time attached and just needs a little more force to dislodge it?
Thanks again for the information.

No expert here, but would be very surprised it was glued. I'd assume it is just bolted in tightly.
Maybe it will free up with a decent tap but not on the magnet though..even if the speaker seems beyond repair.
