I only wish I. too, could play while sitting. I just can't get comfortable. Alas, I fear I am doomed to the standing position.
Strangely, I always play fender bass while sitting on a stool. I've caught lots of hell from bandleaders over the years who thought it "looked weird."

One of my top favorites along with Bo?o P An about the standing That's interesting! I've tried standing, but feel like my left arm gets tense or ends up trying to hold the bass. Any tips?
