VBoutique Cabs?

Anyone know anything about these cabs? Opinions? I was looking for guitar cabs, but noticed they have bass cabinets too.

Their cabs are excellent , they are the builder for several small amp makers as well . I have played a few 4x12's but not the bass cab . Good stuff though IME.

I'm specifically curious about the 2x12 and 1x15. I know the Celestions in them get generally positive reviews. The price on these is pretty hard to beat. Almost "too good to be true" low.

The performance of a speaker system is a function of BOTH the cabinet and the particular driver in that cabinet. There's no way to get around that.

I have 2 of their 4x12 guitar cabs, beautifully made. second to none in quality materials and workmanship. and I have 17 4x12 cabs, made by the best in the business.

Slick website, and plenty of attention paid to cosmetics. But I see little evidence that they get the difference between guitar cab and bass cab design. The speaker options don't help in that regard - the "mix & match" approach of the guitar world.

Looks like it would be a real shot in the dark. The multiple tolex and grill choices looks great tho. Wouldn't look nearly as good if it blew up or farted endlessly...

I have a 4-10 and 1-15 and they are both nice well balanced sounding cabs. I know they do or did make cabs for 3-4 boutique amp companies. I don't play mine much anymore as I like a tweeter these days.
