Verizon wireless - internet usage while calling (iphone)

Suddenly I can use the internet on my phone (iphone se) while I'm making a call. I'm not on wifi. This isn't supposed to be possible.

Is this happening for anyone else?

Certain areas (bigger cities) have att wireless (satellite).

Edit: Just realized it's Verizon. They must also have free wireless.

This worked for me on my Galaxy S3 so I assumed it worked, period. Imagine my surprise when Droid Turbo no worky like that.....

I just got one of those. Pretty decent, great battery life. Tells me when there's no Internet connection.

Yes.. Oddly I think mine is faster even with the WiFi button off.
