Versatile, (relatively) cheap fuzz?...

I just picked up a Way Huge Russian Pickle. Not very versatile per say, but a great fuzz nonetheless.
The DOD Carcosa is sorta the definition of inexpensive and versatile. It can do muff style fuzz, gated splatty fuzz, fuzz face style, I mean, it can do a lot for a small, 4 knobbed, $100 fuzz box. IMO, its one of the better fuzz pedals I've ever tired. Great on the low end and in the mix too.
