Vertical 210 with 6" mid

I won't be posting a pics of the building process (most pics are probably somewhere on my phone) but I thought I share my last build with you.
It's a vertical 210, the design goal was a small foot print and clear mid/highs when standing close to it. The paper mid (which is in fact a full range driver) in the slanted baflle does everything I wished for. The crossover point is approx. 1 khz. I'll do some measurements again in the upcoming weeks to tweak the crossover just a tiny bit.
It has casters and a telescope handle on the back for easy transportation.
So what do you guys think?

Was there a technical reason for the lateral displacement of the 6" driver?

It's the same (acoustical) reason as why a lot of these ol' 70's hifi loudspeakers had the mids and tweeters in such a position. For this design it doesn't matter that much though but IMHO it looks better :)

Color choices? :D

Color?

Thnx!
The 10"s are the Oberton 10B200 which I've been using for several years now. There are comparable 10's on the market nowadays. The "mid" is a Gradient Axis AX-06, there are alternatives like the B&C 6 PEV 13 that would fit the bill though.
Nice build, and the elevated slant top really does make a difference. What would be a good comparable 10" driver for those of us that don't have access to the Obertons?

The enclosure size is approx. 25 liters per driver, tuning is 55hz. The new Eminence Canabass would fit but it may need slightly less volume (20 - 23 liters) and it is a bit pricey. The Beyma 10G40 would work well for sure. It will even have a higher max spl so in that case I would pair it with something like the B&C 6 pev 13 who can handle more power then the gradient.
