I won't be posting a pics of the building process (most pics are probably somewhere on my phone) but I thought I share my last build with you.
It's a vertical 210, the design goal was a small foot print and clear mid/highs when standing close to it. The paper mid (which is in fact a full range driver) in the slanted baflle does everything I wished for. The crossover point is approx. 1 khz. I'll do some measurements again in the upcoming weeks to tweak the crossover just a tiny bit.
It has casters and a telescope handle on the back for easy transportation.
So what do you guys think?

Nice work as always!
How do you like it compared to your coax 2x10?
The coax is extremely detailed and quick but also very expensive and the crossover is complex but nothing comes close to the sound quality. The 6" driver has a more of an "analogue" vibe to it, it has more tubiness in the mid/highs. This is probably due to the resonances typical for full range drivers and higher harmonic distortion.

Are these impressions from listening to the cabs in your home/studio, at gigs, or both?

I've gigged with the "coax" cab and I've listened in the audience a few times when two another (professional) bassists played over the cab so I know how it sounds and what it's capable of.
The cab with the 6" mid is only tested with a drummer but for me it's clear how it sounds compared to the "coax".
