Anyone else here a hardcore gamer? Well, I wouldn't consider myself too into games I just like collecting them. For you guys, what would your favorite games be? Myself, I'd say a tie between Final Fantasy 9, Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and Super Mario Galaxy. My game collection is also expanding at a rapid pace, around 100 games or so right now, with my current systems being Gameboy Advance Nintendo 64 Nintendo DS Nintendo Gamecube Nintendo Wii Playstation 2 Playstation Portable PC BTW, has anyone else here ever been addicted to World of Warcraft? I know, it seems silly to be addicted to an online game but that game just takes over you and drains the life out of you.
I hate WoW personally, boring as hell. Too much level grinding. I also love Majora's mask! Some good 64 games to check out (I don't play any other systems, the 64 is classic): Perfect Dark, 007: GoldenEye, 007: The World Is Not Enough and Resident Evil 2.
Best Games ever IMO -Mike Tyson's Punch Out (NES) -Mega Man 2-3 (NES) -Zelda a link to the past(SNES) -Chrono Trigger (SNES) -God of War I & II (PS2) -GTA San Andreas (PS2) -Tony Hawk 3-4(PS2) -GTA 4 (PS3)
Adding to my first post, I currently own 103 games and am currently looking for even more D: Judging by this list, I think I have more than enough Gameboy / GBA Advance - 13 Nintendo 64 - 5 Nintendo DS - 16 Nintendo Gamecube - 9 Nintendo Wii - 33 Playstation 2 - 10 Playstation Portable - 2 PC - 6 Also, which gaming series do you own the most games of? For me it'd be Final Fantasy, where I currently own 16 games from the series, including the 1-12 and including some spinoffs, to which I am still missing more :O
I was a World of Warcrack addict up to a few weeks ago. Im just not willing to go into EBgames and get another copy. Im a nerd, but I can't stand the nerds that WORK there :scowl:
You know, Blizzard digitally distributes all WoW stuff No need to leave the house. Anyway, I'm something of a gamer. I really only stick to a few tried and true games. I play tons of TF2, L4D, CS, and I've played every MMO on the market.
I burned myself out on Everquest before WoW came out. I cringe thinking about how much time I wasted playing that game. If I had invested that time on my bass I'd have chops like Jaco.
I really like to play Excitebike and Metal Slug on MAME. Bosconian and Space Zap are really fun too. -Mike
Definetly me. I'm not into PC gaming, I love Nintendo! Favorite game? I don't think I could name just one...
-The whole Metal Gear series:totally, absolutely, magnificently awesome -The Elder Scrolls 3:Morrowind -The Baldur's Gate series -Swat 3 and 4 -All the Ace Combat games -IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 -The Icewind Dale series -The Unreal series -The Pro Evolution Soccer series and much much more
I've dabbled in PC games ever since my first computer (a 286) and occasionally became addicted. Some of my past favorite ways to kill a couple of months: fractint (you have to be a nerd to know this one) Sim City 2000 Doom 2 Quake X-Wing vs Tie Fighter Jedi Knight Dark Forces II Quake 3 Arena Flight Unlimited II Darkstone Return to Castle Wolfenstein
The wife and I game all the time... never online stuff though. Current game is GTA IV for the PC... bought it on Steam the other day. We also reinstalled Evil Genius the other day for something to do.
I only really play on the XBOX360. I really like to play Halo 3 online when I'm killing time at my friend's house. I am awful but can still have a good time. If I'm playing alone I like Test Drive Unlimited (way underrated), Forza 2, and the NCAA Football games. I haven't gotten NCAA Football 10 yet because I have yet to do a season in NCAA Football 09. My brother got an awesome deal on it at Walmart on Black Friday. He lent it to me so I can play it. I'm excited for Create A School to be back in 10! I'll be watching for the roster files to show up on the EA Locker. I also like the Tony Hawk games. I almost bought Project 8 at a pawn shop for $3. I rented it once and had a lot of fun. Phantasy Star Online is also an old favorite. I used to play that online with my brothers on the Gamecube. I wasted a lot of time on that. It was fun, though. We tried the computer version (Blue Burst) and almost got hooked again. It is almost like the 'Cube when you connect your XBOX360 controller to the computer. Otherwise, the only other computer game I ever play is Spider Solitaire and Gunbound. And I can't forget Animal Crossing. As embarrassing as it may be, both of my brothers and I were fans of it. It has a strange way of being addicting.
