ATM I dont really game that much though, some of my consoles broke, or have been stolen. Currently only have a working n64, gamecube, DSlite, and my old PC which isn't good for anything outside of Quake3. Really miss having a dreamcast, so many awsome games came out for that noisy system.

I play games on a pc and have done so for the last 20 or so years. I've had the first xbox, but no games really caught my attention since I'm usually into more complex games. At the beginning it was alley cat, but since then there have been many great games.

1. Mechwarrior 2. -It might be the best game ever made.
2. Falcon 4.0 Allied Force -Still the king of sims
3. IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 -Very nice balance between sim and fun.
4. Civilization series -Nuff said.
5. Call of Duty 4. -Great multiplayer.
6. Lock on Gold. -Like the modern Sturmovik
7. DSC: Ka-50 Black Shark -A real hard core sim. Still learning.
8. Sim city 2000 -The best of sim city series
9. Day of the tentacle -Funniest adventure ever.
10. Pro pinball: The web. - A great pinball for pc.

NES is by far the greatest system ever made.
I pretty much have every console but the newer ones, I need to just build a couple cabinets and just run emmulators in them.

I was quite addicted to City Of Heroes/Villians for a good 3 or 4 years. But my computer crashed and i never re-newed my subscription after last year. I'll still log in for free weeks though. I have 8 or so 50s(Max level in those games). They have had some interesting patches latley... who knows. I'll see how Champions Online pans out...

Aside from that i am a HUGE console RPG fan. Final Fantasy being my favorite as well. Shoot, 6 years ago i went to Otacon dressed up as Amarant from FFIX (one of the ONLY two video game carachters i could dress up ass having orange dreadlocks... the other was my awesome Freeman cosplay from Mark of the Garaou).

I am also a huge 2D fighter fan. I mainly stick with the SNK games though...

...so yeah i'm a little behind, but i don't play videogames too often and between these systems there is a library i doubt i'd ever get tired with.

Unlike SWG, which was supposed to take place in a time period where there are very few Jedis, The Old Republic takes place in a time period where Jedis are everywhere, and they will be a playable class from the get-go.


But even still, Trooper and Bounty Hunter both look like really fun classes too, and they still have a few to-be-named classes.

Major serious PC gamer here, both in playing them and in building hot-rod gaming 'puters as a hobby and for side money (23 so far, not counting my personal rigs). I've gamed on a computer since my dad came home with a 1st-gen Apple Mac (I swear, it had a 2-digit serial number) which ran a text-only Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy game. Nowadays, it's mostly shooters and RPGs (playing Fallout3 currently - I just last night installed the Anchorage/Pitt expansions). I've also done some free-lance beta testing for a couple of publishers and a bunch of 3rd-party mod builders, mostly for Morrowind/Oblivion modders but a few for Half Life 2, and cannot wait for HL2/Ep.3

@nbw; you mentioned Painkiller (oh boy, do I know that title)...are you by chance aware of Dark's Corner?

I only play videogames for about 20 hours a year, but I'm currently going through a fan translation of Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys, so I more than make up for lack of time spent with such things in terms of dorkpoints.

Video games eat alot of my practice time. But, I don't care. Totally been living the "Fallout 3" world, with the add-ons, for several months now. And, back in the day, I was part of the team (ID Software) that created "DOOM". That's when I got hooked for life.

I was addicted.. I wont lie. I put it away for the summer, and my bass playing has improved immensely. So, I might sell it to fund bass gear! :bassist:
