Double Bass Video on Pollmann

Best of all is the bass strapped to a motorcycle sidecar going for a ride in the Alps! I haven't watched the whole thing, but funny the exchange between Jeff Bradetich and Ralph when Jeff is trying out a bass. Ralph goes on and on in Deutsch, which Jeff doesn't appear to understand, and I don't think Ralph knows more than a few words of English. Ralph and I talked over beers in Amsterdam a few months ago. Very nice guy. I'm told that he trained in brass instrument making before joining the family business.

Reviving an old thread! I guess Bradetich was picking out a bass for a workshop. The bass he uses in the states is killer.

Surprising how small a shop Pollmann is. Would love to have a 5 string but without orchestral playing I really can't use it. Oh well! Some Pollmann's are really beautiful.
