Might help if we knew if all the strings are affected or just one.

I'd start by putting action back to the factory settings, 2.5mm for E at 12th fret and 2mm for G. Lower saddles until the buzz returns then raise the saddles again by a baw hair.

Just one. Happened after restringing.

All it took was changing the string. Mr. Vigier suggested I put on a new Daddario set and now the bass sings beautifully.

I use D'Addario's on every bass I own. Never failed me and have always been consistent. Bought my first set back in 1982 and have used them ever since. Even my Vigier Passion Fretless has the flats on it
