Has anyone here experienced a warp in the neck? I know that's the whole point of a bass without a truss rod, but I'm just scared lol

How would a truss rod be able to correct a warp anyway ?

Maybe it's just because it's the honeymoon phase, but I own an Elrick NJS, a Sadowsky Metroline, a Music Man Cutlass and a Music Man Caprice and the Vigier just wipes the floor with all of them! My favorite bass ever. Pickups are a little noisier than I'm used to, but do they ever sizzle.

Does anyone know the difference between an Excess and a Roger Glover signature bass? Or is it the same with a signature on the headstock?

At the very least, the electronics are different. Standard Excess has 4 knobs, Glover has 5. I'm not sure about neck profiles, frets, etc...

A quick look at the specs on the Vigier website shows that they're pretty much the same regarding neck profiles, radius, etc... The other differences, other than the electronics, seem to be cosmetic.

Yeah, I think that's a mid control. Plus, I think the dots are glow in the dark. But is that all?

I think the Glover only comes with a maple fretboard. The standard Excess has the usual options.

I'm just going by the Vigier site and the listed specs. Maple only on the Glover may have been on the most recent version/release. Or not.

Since this thread is alive again, I've only had the fortune of trying an Excess thus far and absolutely love it. How do the Passion and the Arpege differ from this one?
