Vint J, does this look correct?

Hello All,
so I was cruising Reverb because I don't respect myself, or my wallet and saw this alleged 1975 J in Oly White. It sorta checks off all the things I have always wanted in a 70's J. Three bolt, original pickups, not sunburst, natural, or black (love white personally). This truss rod nut looks a bit weird though, right? Or can y'all tell if it's just a shadow being cast over it that makes it look hexagonal instead of like a bullet truss. Also, I had thought that in the seventies all the headstocks should have a serial number there listed with an S prefix followed by the last digit of the year. This one has the 3 bolt which I want, and what appears to be a serial on it, did they not start doing the headstock serials till after the mid seventies?

On further analysis I also find it curious that the last S in BASS is hiding under the machinehead slightly. Just smells.....off.

I think it's just a shadow on the bullet, and here's another '75 Jazz bass headstock showing a similar decal placement. That's all I have to add.

Many thanks Scott! It's even got the same situation with the S hiding a bit under the tuner. I am thinkin it's legit. Just been a loooooooooooong time since I've been trawlin vintage J's.

starting in 76, I believe.
Those TV logos are large and hard to precisely place. There's not much tolerance there, so that doesn't surprise me...
That bullet looks fairly tarnished though. They usually seem to be pretty shiny, but it does match the patina of the string tree.... as long as it functions.
