Vintage ProCo '85 Whiteface Rat (Small Box) for bass?

I just bumped into a guy who is selling a vintage proco '85 whiteface RAT. The REAL thing.

I'm definitely gonna get my hands on it if it sounds good. Does anyone know how well this goes with bass? Thanks!

Never played a Rat pedal that sounded good with bass unless it was blended with a clean sound or modded for more lows. But a good Rat pedal is a thing of beauty on bass even if you do have to blend it.
