maybe the Vintera II series will be 20% higher than Vintera I? Fender's been on one with all the price hikes lately.
looks like prices shot back up and at $919.99 again.
oh sorry i meant the mustang bass.... this was the price of it the same time yesterday......but sometime after 6pm, it changed.$999 where I'm sittin'.

It's weird.... site has it off and on for about a day or two. Since Aug 1 it came back prob about twice - just check back time to time.
I was able to catch one on sale a week ago. I thought the price was suspect to say the least. The input jack had to be bent because after playing it for 5 minutes it kept falling out. Not really a big deal because it’s only 3 screws. The other issue was the tuning keys have a small screw and plastic bushing that were not tightened down and were rattling. There were also a few small unfinished areas on the neck. The bass sounds amazing. I’m pretty sure I’m going to keep it but I definitely wouldn’t pay 1k for it. I have a squire CV mustang I purchased used for $200 that would give this bass a run for its money.
Amazon is still doing some okay deals on Vinteras. Red with gold guard was $700-ish this morning.
