VM TELECASTER SPECIAL First impressions

Took the body of my VM Tele Special into my luthier today. The body will be returned as a Thinline with the cavities routed, and an F hole added. Pickguard will be styled from the 72 Tele Thinlne. I'm thinking DiMarzios at this point with V/B/StellarTone Duo Tone. Daphne Blue with matching headstock. Squier by Fender, Telecaster Bass decal from Rothko & Frost. Probably getting a set of ultra light tuners to help with neck weight.

Yes, that does sound great! Would love to see pics when you get them - and also would love to hear what kind of wood your body is, since there seems to be a discrepancy with the Fender literature.
