Vocal pitch issues

Turn down?
Not realistic for many reasons. Though a fair portion of our material is fairly straight-ahead rock, we eventually cross over into music that isn't designed for polite, socially well-adjusted audiences (even at our age...some people never grow up!!!). The expectation is that in-your-face music is delivered at appropriate in-your-face volumes. It doesn't really translate well otherwise. At least that's been a successful calling card for us over many years, and I don't see it changing.

Even with a softer stage, the FOH is expected to pump out healthy volume which has further ramifications to stage volume that seem unavoidable without going to an IEM system, which I plan to do.
