Volume pedals

I am in the market for a volume pedal for my electric bass rig.

I see that of the boss brand volume pedals, there is the FV-500L stereo, and the FV-500H mono. Could anyone give me an opinion as to which model would be optimum for bass?

I use the Ernie Ball volume pedal and I'm starting to get into the Source Audio Expression pedal. Great stuff :)
