Vox wah pedal with bass?

Well my Morley dual bass wah has been clipping out with my higher output basses and i am looking into getting a new one. Now i have always thought the best sounding wah was those Vox ones and have always been interested in the cheaper new Vox wahs but never got one because i have never heard of anyone using one with bass. So has anyone tried one with bass? I'm ok with a little low end loss but not too much. Any replies would be appreciated.

Ok so i went to guitar center today, tried the Vox wahs out for myself, and decided to report back. So the Vox v847 was terrible; it completely erased about 85% of the low end, but i must admit despite the intense tone sucking the wah sweep was okay. Now the Vox v845 was also a tone sucker but not as bad; it still got rid of probably about 60% of the bottom end, but its filter sweep wasn't nearly as good as the Vox v847 wah. So my general conclusion is that Vox wahs just don't work with bass.
