VT Pedal Demo

Are the knobs on everyone's VT basses stuck? Did they ever even work? Is there ANYONE on youtube capable of setting their VT bass to something other than a heavily mid-scooped tone when shooting a demo?!?! Yes, yes, thank you, I see the that character and overdrive knobs can move back and forth and create lots of different sounds, but I'd like to hear something other than BASS 10!!! TREBLE 10!!! Mids 4....

That happens a lot because mid-scooped tones sound great on their own. Then, when they play with a band, they keep wondering why all of a sudden they completely disappear from the mix.
 
I'll see if I can get some clips up for you some time. I have my VT pedal setup with bumped lows and mids, and slightly cut highs. Adjust the character and drive knob to taste for the song (I use it as a recording pre-amp rather than a stomp box).
