VT + Power amp bass rig

I have been using VT bass for about a year with my Warwick Blue Cab 15 practice amp and it sounds amazing. I also tried it with my old amp that I used with my band (Harley Benton CB-110X - the worst amp ever, but it had a lot power for the low price... ) and it also sounded good. With both amps I ran VT bass into return of the FX loop. That's why I decided to buy a bass cab, power amp and use VT bass as my preamp. I bought Hartke VX115 cab (2nd hand for 150 euros) and QSA 600 power amp (2x205W/4Ohm, 2x190W/8Ohm, 1x410W/8Ohm ). I was really looking forward to the sound, but I ended up disappointed... It doesn't sound really good, controls on vt bass act absolutely different than I was used to. Now I don't whether there is problem with cab, power amp or something different. Can anybody please tell me what could be the issue?
