vulfpeck at Bonnaroo last night

I like their albums, but if the first 10 minutes is indicative of their live show, I think I'll skip. I know I'm in a minority, but I don't want crowd interaction; I want to hear the band play. I didn't pay to hear thousands of drunk people sing out of tune. I hope this was a Bonnaroo special, where the majority of the crowd has never heard of you, much less is familiar with your music.

IME, that was an anomaly. They did do the crowd interaction bit the one time I saw them play Back Pocket, but that was basically it outside of Jack saying wacky stuff now and then.

I'm going to see them again in two weeks. Just by coincidence, they're playing in Central Park as part of Summerstage on the first day of our trip to NYC. Woot!
