Yes it is, it's the value that I've found most commonly suggested for passive Fender bass guitar capacitors. Would you choose a different value, and why?

The common cap on a Fender is .047uF, not 4.7. HUGE difference.

AWW MAN!!Thanks for asking that, I grabbed this w/a handful of NOS parts ay a nearby electronics shop that closed a couple years ago & just now realized my misread...

Thanks BJMtz, I'll try this out in a couple days once I've got the soldering iron up and running again (and don't have a tribute band set list/gig to rehearse OR toddler double-duty, lol)!
