Assuming this is legit and not a copy/parts bass with a Musicman decal I'd bid on this just for that neck.

T-40's are ugly as homemade sin anyway, the mods to that bass is like someone throwing up on a pile of dog sh*t.

not only that, but judging on where that jazz pup is, I'd be willing to bet that the original route is still there in decent shape. Get a new pick guard and a mm pup, and go to town.
I totally would have paid $137.50 for the T40.
It didn't look any weirder than some of the boutique basses I have seen.
