I was listening to Pandora yesterday and Phil Keaggy came on the Blues channel I had. When I heard the bass lines it sounded amazing, thick fat and bluesy!
The song was Zee Blues. I bought the whole album and several songs are blues stuf and a great sound.
Now I started seaching for the player on that song and it is Wade Jaynes and he has been in several bands.

How can I get in contact with him to find out what he used to get that sound on that album?

Any suggestions?

Hmm--I'd check on Phil Keaggy's site--there is a forum there as well.
Did you get a pdf or other liner notes with the album?
It sounds like you downloaded it.
That might give some info.

I do own the CD of this--and it is a great album.
One of my favorites of his.
the songs play often on my phone as well.

if you get a chance to see Phil Keaggy live--do it.

I saw him in 1975 maybe. He plYed with 2nd Chapter of Acts. I had several oh his albums. Incredible player.
On that Jammed! Album I like Zee Blues, Wades bass sound and playing was bad and I want to find the details. I have spent two days w no luck finding any useable info.
