Walking Bass and Sight Reading

I would like to learn some walking bass lines.
I would also like to understand some theory of more advanced lines (down the road)

Mostly I would like to improve my reading ability.

Is there a book that would provide all three ?

There are so many books out there on walking bass. Don't mind buying one, would like to only buy one if possible.

Yeah, there are a bunch. Ed Friedland's is good, might be what you're looking for.

I have the Bruce Gertz book and like it.
He is a bass professor at Berklee College.

...and has been for ages. He must have started teaching there when he was four years old!

Check Dannie Ziemann's "The Low Down".

Vol. 1 is about general principles of walking bass.

Vol. 2 contains hundreds of choruses of blues and rhythm changes in all keys as well as for a selection of jazz standards.
