I have had my Walter Woods Hi Power stereo amp for around 5 years. It's solid, great sounding and exactly what i like in terms of power, tone easy transportability. I not only use my WW's for Bass but Guitar and Keys as well. I used it for a PA when our Pa blew out. However, over the years I have tried a number of 4x10, 2x10 cabs and have yet to find the right combination for my needs. I'm interested in finding out what you guys have experienced or any tips that you might have when using the WW's as a Bass amp with bass cabs.

My former instructor used his with two Bergantino 112's(HT112ER and EX112ER I believe) and it sounded fantastic.
From my experience with WW's, they sound great through just about anything.

For my gigs i use a epifani 3x10 i just really like tens.

I was considering one the following 1x12 Aguilar, Epifani PS112, or even the New Markbass NewYork 1x15. However I never tried the Epifani 3x10...Hmmmm....Barrybass is that a UL3x10 or NYC 3x10?
Just to confuse the issue (only a little):
I have played my WW both as a standalone and as a dedicated bass power amp for 15 years. But mostly the latter.
I use the Alembic F-1X preamp, running its full-range output into a single channel of the WW. Haven't needed to bridge to the 700 watt/8 ohm configuration.
With the WW as a standalone, modern speakers like Edens, Bag Ends and Epifanis seem to work better. But IME and IMO, with this preamp rig you can play many types of music, with a greater choice of speakers.
I play primarily blues, mixing in some funk, swing, jazz, plus Govt Mule-ish heavy rock.
Currently, depending on the gig, I use:
1. one Ampeg Classic SVT-12E; or
2. Mesa-Boogie Powerhouse 2x10 or PH 1x15 (haven't needed 'em together yet!); or
3. Matamp 4x10 [big puppy for outdoor shows].
All cabinets 8 ohms.
Yes, Walter Woods takes great care to design his preamps for tone, flexibility, headroom and low noise, but my "personal hybrid" rig offers greater versatility.
And of course, sometimes the rig sounds better when I bypass the preamp altogether -- it's always an option.
YMMV, etc. Anybody else do this?

Check out Brickhouse Cabinets, Run it through atleast 2 1x12's, one with a tweeter. Sick sound. You can check them out at Mike frosts website where he sells the cabs exclusively http://www.mcfrost.com/brickhouse.html. The cabs were almost meant to be paired with the WW head
