Wanting to have a bass built. Need Help

Currently a lot of basses out there don't offer what I want in a bass and so I am looking into getting one built for me, or atleast getting the body and neck routed and finished for me, and I can put it together.

Here are the specs I am looking for:

Lakland 4-94 or Ernie Ball Stingray Shape Walnut Body

Lakland or Ernie Ball Stingray Headstock Shape

4-string, 24 medium size frets (like on an Ibanez), 35" scale maple neck that is thin and easy to play like an Ibanez Soundgear Bass

Delano Musicman style pickup in traditional Musicman pickup location

Basically what I want is an Stingray, but with the neck profile of an Ibanez (but not the Ibanez Headstock Shape).

Any suggestions?:confused::confused::confused:

Thanks, Kevin

Depends on where you are located. There are many great luthiers around, esp here in TB. Try contacting them and see who is able and willing to make your dream bass come true.

My own personal Stingray dream came to a happy end by getting a Dingwall Z2

You can have anything you want built. Some luthiers build only to their own specs/designs, many others will listen to your ideas and come up with a custom bass exactly to your specs. I find that the customer often has a very clear idea what they want, all I have to do is provide the engineering feedback to make sure everything works seamlessly in the final product.
