Warmoth Bodies and Necks

A lot of people here implying Warmoth is too dumb or too stubborn to offer more options. Not likely, since they have been doing this for a long time. They know what sells and they know how many people are asking for various options and have figured out what will make them the most money.

It's no different than Fender making basses with the specs they do. If you want something different they send you to the Custom Shop and you pay CS prices.

this replies, ignorant, nobody is asserting that Warmoth is too “dumb” to do anything {Emphasis Added}. What we are merely asserting is that we wish that we could go to one premier person for all of our parts needs for all of the specs that we would want to build a certain guitar or bass{Emphasis Added}. You are talking for the head honchos people buy from music craft because they offer multiple radiuses and “C” shape profiles. Why Warmoth doesn’t do this is beyond me. This has nothing to do with the custom shop. Warmoth “IS” customization (allegedly). Thus we as consumers have the right to suggest more “custom” options!!!

Respectfully,

Jim.

Why do YOU think they won't do what you want?

And no, "customizable" is always within limits of what they can and should do. I'd love it if they did short scale bodies and necks that were Fender compatible, but they don't. They probably never will unless the demand is massive.

This we created a thread to spark interest {Emphasis Added}. You can petition a parts builder to do more things so that you can buy parts from them. Warmoth is not a bass manufacturer like Fender. They are a “Parts” company {Emphasis Added} thus is consumers can inquire about parts that they would like the company to assuage the requests of. Wholly realizing that Warmoth does not have to oblige. However every company has a fan base and a feedback section.
