Anyone out there have a Warmoth body with a MM HB in the sweet spot? Jonsing for a chambered P w/ that pickup location just haven't seen a picture of any Warmoth model routed that way. Please share pics, I have been thinking and planning this for some time, would love visuals

Thanks

I picked this one up a couple of months ago, an old Wide 5 P with MM pickup...

I got the bass used--Warmoth hasn't made these Big 5 parts in years--it looks like ash under the brown stain. One day I'll probably strip it down to natural.

Yes, it has a 2Tek. Between that and the big (2-3/16" at the nut, .75" bridge spacing) neck with dual truss rods, the thing weighs a ton but has a great low B and almost as much sustain as my Curbow.

Thank you @mikezimmerman

What wood is that, and is it rocking a 2tek?

Not exactly the "sweet spot" -- I requested this pickup location so that the rearmost coil of that Bartolini quad-coil MM humbucker was in the 60s Jazz Bass position -- and obviously not complete; pic was taken before I installed the preamp. But that's a Warmoth P Bass body fwiw
