ebay seller bassrocker32,bassist/guitarist for Glory Bound & sessions
My drummer has been busting my chops to build a custom bass with the idea of purchasing the best parts I can afford. We built a franknbass out of parts I got from the local music shop and ebay that came out good. You can here it at the link below on the "Starbucker"track. He suggested taking it up a knotch. Anyway,I was checking out some sites,Stew Mac,All parts,Carvin and Warmoth. Warmoth seemed to have the good prices and a good variety of body styles. My question to my bass bros & sista's is how good is Warmoth parts, service etc.? or is there some other option ?

I have 2 Warmoth's. Their service is excellent and the bodies and necks are really very good. The fit is excellent. The choices are great. You get what you want and how you want it. I love the fact that I got the pieces I wanted - how I wanted them

I love my Warmoth jazz bass, assembled by a dear friend. All very nice parts that you purchase a la carte and assemble into a high dollar bass/guitar. Warmoth has excellent bodies and necks. That being said, my band likes the sound of my $65Squier Affinity P-bass with upgraded pickups, more. Pearls before swine and all, just realize that you may have a better thing going in your Frankenbass than you realize ...
