Warmoth

There comes a fine line between ease of use and fancy new website design. I personally like the new design, but I liked the old design too. The old design was much easier and faster to use. The new design takes longer to load and it's harder to find what you're looking for. If somebody is dial-up they'd have a heck of a time navigating through all that. It would take all day.

Oh and it reminds me of USACG's page but a bit more detailed. That's not a good thing IMO.

<grin> OK, I guess I'll weigh in with a few comments here.

- The new site is the (visible) beginning of a number of major advancements at Warmoth. It is still a work in progress, with new features on their way. Please bear with us as this was just the first step. My personal thanks for your patience.

- Some folks don't like the new look, but we've received equally as many positive comments. Some absolutely gushing. The overall site structure is still there though. This should help mitigate the shock for some.

- Yes, pricing went up. We don't take annual increases every calendar year as is common in this industry. As has already been noted, most products have not seen increases for 3 years and some products not for 5 years. In that time, material and labor have gone up consistently. It ultimately became necessary to raise prices. Products with greater labor and material costs went up more, other products less.

FYI, you can see additional new site info at: Invalid Link Removed

I don't care what they say, I'm really happy with the 2 basses I built from your parts!

I like the new additions, very cool. And I am currently building another Warmoth bass, my third, and this time with entirely new parts.
Now I still cannot look at black background websites, but that's probably just me....

Great to see a Warmoth guy in the thread. Thank you for you input.

I agree, website design is personal preference. I like some of the features of the new site others i don't.

I also understand the price increase, all of us in the manufacturing sector are constantly faced with increased production/raw material cost.

I still say, Warmoth products are some of the best I have dealt with and will continue to do business with them. I just hate cost increases, justified or not.
