Warped body!?

I didn't know it's that cold there in southern Europe. Here in tundra we've had -25C for almost a couple of weeks. Our humidity is under 20% at the moment. I can almost hear Titebond dry... Cyanoacrylate taker forever to dry as there is so little moisture in the air.

That's not a pleasant atmosphere... luckily we're at -10 for the night and about -4 at noon right now and halfway next week temperatures are getting above zero degrees again.

I wouldn't call The Netherlands Southern Europe myself, but I guess from your point of view it is :smug:.

Best of luck!

Thanks! :smug:

hope it flattens out for you :), let us know if your method eventually works for you or not.

And here's the result:

I got the body out of the clamps after three to four weeks. The horns became completely straight / flat again, which is very nice! Much better than what I started with. The widest part of the body still has a measureable, but unnoticeable, warp: < 1 mm at most. Right now, the body is out of the clamps for a few days, and the result hasn't changed yet. Now, I only have to hope it'll stay like this!!

Thanks for your support,

Thanks! :smug:
