Warrior Club Part 2

Howard's Feed & Wax for me. Seems to work fine, and it looks great afterwards. I'm not sure if it buffs out quite the same.

I'll just flat out say it...Howard's Feed & Wax IS Warrior "annointing oil" Its the same stuff. The buy the big jugs of Howards and put it in the little blue Warrior bottles and mark it up 50x. I've seen it first hand.

And, yes, from my experience. It is one of the best things that I have found to use on an oil finished bass. A little bit goes a long way, so use it sparingly.

So, what's the process there. My Warrior has a poly finish, but I have an all walnut Cirrus that has an oil finish that could use some TLC.

I just follow the directions on the bottle

saturate cloth square
rub on well
leave set 20 min
polish

repeat as needed... Looks great for quite a while, then it needs a touch up.

After the discussiont here I found in internet ([Invalid or Expired Link Removed]) that the composition of Feed and Wax is basically Parafin, citric oil, solvent, bee wax and carnauba wax. It could be a good start to find similar products to polish your Warrior.

Dear Groove Warrior, Finally I join the club.

I think I´m number "X" in Warrior club.

Here are my new Dran Michael 6 and 4 strings.

Yep that's the Warriors of the time. Little side info on the bass you have. It was originally supposed to be mine. It was the first with that wood combo. I got a call from JD and he said he needed to sell it to Andrew and he could build me another one. Pretty cool.

That's awesome. Andrew had loaned it to a friend who pawned it for drug money somewhere in LA. The guy I bought it from had picked it up in a pawn shop in LA. I found out it was Andrew's when I took it to the shop, since i only lived 15 min away, for Warrior care an JD knew the bass right away. I contacted Andrew and he confirmed it was his and said he didn't know what happened to it after his friend said he didn't have it anymore. He was happy it was in good hands.

It's pretty cool to know the history of your bass. Thanks for the info.

I used a little Howard's Feed n Wax a couple weeks back and it really brought my old Warrior back to life. I really love this bass.

Great!!!! This a beatiful and full of history instrument.

If possible, next time put an before feed and wax treatment photo.

I dont live in USA and still searching some product to substitute howard feed and wax. For this reason before/after photos are important to support my search and give me a reference of results.

Cool pic w/ my beloved workhorse

With the birdseye maple fingerboard and quilt headstock card, it's hard to see the sword on the 12th fret and the Warrior logo... Fixing to send it to Warrior to get the sword and the logo replaced to match the flamed koa block inlays. Also the logo will be upgraded to the new enlarged logo.
