It's the Buzzard because the original headstock was supposed to resemble a Buzzard's beak as per Entwistle's design. Warwick obviously never understood that.

i would also have to say its just a name.. they most likely named it after it was designed. i dont think the idea was to make a bass look like a buzzard.

The pic is small, but you can see the bird on the body. The Warwick neck through models had a more appropriate headstock.

Yep, Status should also make them to. Carbon-fiber gives the Buzzard's shout: "peea-ay"

I've always liked the Buzzard, but I'd have to sell two of mine just to buy one of those used. Just like the Infinity LTD NT, oh so nice, but just too damn expensive...
