This. The two cabs are designed to sound completely different from each other, so it should be no surprise that they, in fact, sound completely different. The BF sounds darker than the Hellborg - yes, of course, that's how it's designed to sound.


BF are very clear that their 10" line of cabs are designed to mimic the characteristics that people tend to like about vintage Ampeg cabs. This is no secret.

You'll find plenty of real-world opinions about BF cabs on the Barefaced club thread here; that's not marketing, that's real players who probably like different sounding cabs than you do.

You are right if that what the players want I understand their success...

Its like politics, Is hard to understand the people choices sometimes...

Silliest thread ever. I doubt any cab would blow away a BF. I guess some could compete. But at least compare apples to apples and also back up any accusations against BF.
