Warwick or Pedulla?

I'm stuck between 2 basses
I have a warwick 6 string thumb bo that I like, but I have a 4 string thumb that I use way more...so the 6 string just sits there..i have a buddy that offered me a Pedulla Thunderbolt ETB-5 Cocobola....I've never played pedulla before, but I they're pretty good at what they do...
Is it a good offer or should I just hang on to what.i.have? Please help with pros and cons

I'd explore the reason for the difference in use: Is the six-string too heavy? Is the neck comfortable? Are you happy with the sound? Do you use the full range of six strings? Do you really need a low B? For me, frequency of use is a main determinant for keeping an instrument. If I don't play it, I won't keep it.

Play the Pedulla, and then decide. Pedullas are decent basses, as are Wicks. Having played many of both, I cannot make a blind recommendation. Ideally, one should always judge an instrument in the context of use. Is it used in the studio, for practice, or for performance? Has it been tested through consoles, amps, and DIs? Does it play well? Do you like the sound? Is it comfortable to play standing and sitting for extended periods. After playing it for many hours (in your context), are you more or less enthused for the purchase/trade? In your specific case, do you really need the sixth string? Do you need a fifth string? Is four strings adequate?

If you spend some time playing the Pedulla, your decision should be much easier. Best in your quest.

Thanks everybody, I made the decision and went with the Pedulla.. So far I love it..i cleaned it up real nice, changed the strings to EADGC....i really never used that low B anyways.. The neck feels nice and fast..and the bass doesn't weigh 3 tons so ghats a plus..

Pedullas are decent instruments? If you had really given a Pedulla a play, you wouldn't say that. They are impeccable.
