I've had a Warwick Corvette and a Rockbass Corvette Classic. The Rockbass sounds better. I find that with "cheap" basses it's the luck of the draw. You may get the one done by the A shift.
Now I have two Rockbasses and I'm satisfied with both. But I still think it's luck.
