Warwick Streamer Stage 1 tuning problem

hi, i have a problem with my new bass, it only takes a short while before the tuning is out and i have to tune it again, about a week... i think i only tuned my last bass 3 time or so, is this normal? what could be the problem?

btw: the neck is straight

There maybe some slack in the strings / tuners.

Could be that the bass is adapting to changing weather conditions.

Could also be the tuner not working properly.

How out of tune do you mean? Most basses are good at staying close to proper tuning but I tune mine with a proper tuner before every practice or gig and it always needs some tweaking.

That being said what 'surrender' (above) says is true

How much do you cut the new strings when putting them on? That can have a big effect on that as welll...
