i got one for sale, it's a wikkid bass. unfortunatley i got a lot of bills, and im playing fours more now anyhoo.
ive put it up for sale and then changed my mind again a few times on this.

When I was saving up for mine, I couldn't find a used one for anything. So, I just kept on saving, for almost 18 months even, and bought a new one. I got it for $2200OTD with a hardshell case, which wasn't bad even five years ago. I'd say save your money, pick up a used one...

Killer bass. No problem finding a used one when you're ready. The anticipation will just make you enjoy it more when it's yours.

They have a compressed and modern tone...make sure that is what you want. Also, some can be a tad heavy, mine was 12 lbs. Awesome bass!

Wow, I'd definitely take a Stage II over a fodera... go for it.

If you're 20, just wait. 20:1 odds you want the Streamer because someone famous has one. I've got news for ya: the bass needs to fit YOU not them and if you're running a cheap amp, it won't matter what you use.

I have to agree with spade ......

I want a Streamer ( plain ol' streamer ) bad. And I know where I can get one with a price tag of $1600, but probably discounted uner a grand.

I want a Conklin Groove Tool 5-string ( GT-5 ?). $1600 new, tagged at $650, the shop dude whispering in my ear ... 400 bucks! ( I had the money for this ..... then had to put an engine and trans in my truck ).

I already have 5 basses and no matter what I do, I keep coming back to my '80s vintage Peavey Patriot. It's a terrific player, tone monster ( for what I do ) and fits my needs perfectly.

$50 at a pawn shop .... go figger

I say buy one used. Trujo77 has one for sale right now.

I bought this one from Trujo...and all I can say is WOW. Amazing bass...best bass I've ever played. And by the way, it was NEW and came with a brand new flight case.
