I’m about to get a Thumb bass for the 2nd time in my life after 12 years and a being told that I should use tapered strings, is this true for the Thumb? I do not recall using them in the past but I knew nothing about strings then, if anyone can help me out I’d really appreciate it, I’d like to just throw on some Daddario pro steels like my other basses have
