I started playing guitar in early 1968, and wasn't that great. A friend needed a bass player for his band. They gave me a try out, and it really clicked. It's been the bass since 1968. I love playing the bass.

I bet that wasn't a problem for these guys.I've read/heard about guitarist switching because there were already guitars in the band so they took the bass...

That will be the next thread "do bassist like electronic music?" Outside of Tangerine Dream I love this stuff and no clue why. The English version of The Model has a funeral dirge sound but it's cool. Rock? on Kling Klang.Ha! Kraftwerk, "wir fahr'n fahr'n fahr'n auf der autobahn. Vor uns leigt, ein weites tal, Die sonne scheint mit glitzerstrahl!" Great headphone pot smoking music from my wastrel youth.
Not telling me anything I dug these guys and like I said, no clue why. The music just pulled me in and I'm probably wrong but it carried the low end through and through. Nothing over the top, just hypnotic, which is why someone? smoking something? would get pulled in.You gotta admit, Kraftwerk were WAY AHEAD of their time.![]()
