Or this?So is the Philharmonic. A formally arranged band based on sheets and written parts, is not "tight" in the same way, IMO. If we go there we can count every band on TV or studio crew that records a jingle.

When you factor in how insane their antics are live, it's really unbelievable.Man, Dillinger... Talk about a band that plays some crazy shipoopie and pulls it off tight as a drum live. The first time I heard them, my initial thought was "I am so bad at math!!!"
I lasted 48secs listening to that abject bollocks, just wondered if anyone had greater endurance for tuneless tripe than I.Huh?
If you endure, you experience the punchline: A lone pair of clapping hands.I lasted 48secs listening to that abject bollocks, just wondered if anyone had greater endurance for tuneless tripe than I.
I know no-one will like this or even listen to it, but a modern progressive metal band called Periphery is undoubtedly the tightest band ever. No-one will ever come close to them.
That is their soundcheck. The complexity of the song, and the fact that they have three guitar players, all playing different things, with interlocking rhythms, and a bass player who matches them...well, I defy you to find anything tighter![]()
As the op, I'm kinda trying to stay out of the way here...but I gotta say, I was really, Really happy to see David Bromberg and his band get a hug!Zappa

Oh, it wasn't an andrological question...I lasted 48secs listening to that abject bollocks, just wondered if anyone had greater endurance for tuneless tripe than I.
