Double Bass Washtub bass

Hi everyone,

I ran across this bass locally, originally from the south east apparently.

Pretty sure it's a family instrument, but thought I post a pic for fun.

I thought that it was pretty awesome when I first saw it.

Going to play it tonight.

I actually posted it here as there were similar instrument topics posted in this section.

Maybe a mod has the answer.

BTW, This instrument was supposedly built in Tennessee..
